Work Placement

Work Placement

Work Experience:

This is normally available to Year 10, 11 and 12 students. I will advise all students of the opportunities available to you and will give you the paperwork which needs to be signed by the employer, your parent(s), yourself and the school. It is your responsibility to find your own Work Experience placement, but I will provide you with all the things you need to do this.

After you have completed your Work Experience, the employer will fill out an evaluation form which you will get to keep and can attach/add to your career portfolio.

Structured Workplace Learning:

Some courses in the Senior School have compulsory work placement as part of the course. Some Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses may have a requirement that you undertake a period of work placement (Structured Workplace Learning) in the industry related to that course.  See the Careers Adviser, Work Placement or VET Coordinator for more information.
