Vantage Automotive - Automotive Technician, Parts Interpreter or Body Repair Technician - Automotive Modern Apprenticeship Program

Vantage Automotive Pty Ltd is a major provider of Government funded vocational learning and outsourced services to major vehicle manufacturers and employers with an extensive client list across Australia. Applications are now being sought from students that are interested in a career within the automotive industry as an Automotive Technician, Parts Interpreter or Body Repair Technician.

 

Both male and female candidates from all over Australia are invited to apply for the Automotive Modern Apprenticeship Program and, if selected, will be offered full time employment at an employer close to their home and flown to Sydney (if required) for training.  This is a funded Program with minimal cost to the student.

 

Positions are already available for the 2019 academic year so please ensure your students apply quickly to enhance their chance of a full time position.

If your students are interested in joining one of our Automotive Apprenticeship Programs, the application process would be to carefully look at the manufacturers and employers listed on our website www.vantageautomotive.com under the ‘Apply Now’ area, remembering that the Apprenticeship Program leads to full time employment, and choose which Apprenticeship they wish to apply for.

 

Once your student is happy with their selection, they are then required to fill out the application form online and attach their current resume with a cover letter, they will also be required to follow the steps and complete a short online assessment. 

 

Employers who have a vacancy within their chosen specialism will then receive the application and may be in contact to invite them in for an interview.

Rural and Regional Enterprise Scholarships Program

QTAC is delighted to be the Scholarship Support Organisation for the Australian Government Department of Education and Training to deliver the Rural and Regional Enterprise Scholarships Program. 

The Rural and Regional Enterprise Scholarships Program improves access to and completion of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) tertiary education courses, including in the fields of health and agricultural science. 

The scholarships are open to students from regional and remote areas in Australia. 

The program aims to:

  • increase the number of students engaging with STEM disciplines
  • increase the number of students able to undertake their preferred course of STEM study, irrespective of their location
  • increase program participants' rate of course completion relative to their peers.

The Program will support up to 1200 undergraduate, postgraduate and Vocational Education and Training (VET) students to undertake a STEM course, including in the fields of health and agricultural science. The scholarships are for Certificate IV to PhD courses. STEM fields include the following broad fields of study:

1.       Natural and Physical Sciences

2.       Information Technology

3.       Engineering and Related Technologies

4.       Agriculture, Environmental and Related Studies

5.       Health (except Complementary Therapies)

Scholarship recipients may receive total scholarship funding up to $18,000, based on course length and type of study or training. The minimum duration a scholarship can support is six months full-time and the maximum is four years full-time (or part-time equivalent).
